Vacation Portraits vs Curated

We would like to offer a brief note concerning images you may find online and consider as inspiration for your session. First, are you looking at the image for color, lighting,  or poses, yes this matters. Why?

Many images shared on the internet—particularly those on social media, design portfolios, and image galleries—often utilize color filters, digital enhancements, or post-processing techniques. Which all takes time, and clients pay a premium to have done or the images are manipulated for likes.

These color adjustments can significantly alter the appearance of the original scene or subject. As a result, the real-life colors, textures, and overall look may differ from what is depicted online. When selecting images for inspiration, it's important to keep in mind that the final outcome in your project might not match the filtered or edited appearance of reference images.

If you have specific color preferences or effects in mind, please share your thoughts with us. We're happy to discuss options and explore ways to achieve your desired look within the scope of what we offer.
